Short Update

It's been a while since I have written in here.
Maybe I blogged more when we lived in Indy because there wasn't a ton to do ;)
Living in Boulder is the best decision we have ever made. (Besides to get married)

The mountains alone are reason to move here. We have access to so much. It's really changed the way we live and the activities we get to do. Hiking for a few hours up to the top of a mountain at tree line (11,000ft elv.) was one of the most amazing things Bradley and I have done!

I love it here.
I did get into a bike accident with a car, got surgery, 3 months of recovery and now have to relearn how to use my left arm. BUT I wouldn't change a thing about our experience in Colorado. What if I could change the accident would I? No, what if something worse would happen instead!?

I have the most amazing life, with the most amazing fiancé, with the most amazing puggle.
Going on adventures & loving life.

Killing it

Last night Bradley, Andy and I rode some trails at Marshall Mesa. 
It was a terrible up hill (up a mountain) battle to get to the trail head. 
I wish this picture showed the amazing view of tiny Boulder below. 
The rest of the ride was awesome. Until we ran into some cows on the trail, the cows freaked me out! 
I've really been working hard on getting better at riding, last night I just nailed it.

In 6 days we will be moving to Boulder!

Our house is almost packed up. 

We are very close to securing a new place.

Brad has an awesome new job.

I'm taking over as store manager of Pitaya in Boulder!

My best friend Tori is driving with me. 

I'm so happy.

I'm going to miss friends and family

but I will see you all again. It's not good bye forever. 

& I'm really excited to start planning our wedding.

That is all I have been thinking about the last few months. I am focusing on how much fun it is going to be to move somewhere new
with my fiancé and puggle to start something wonderful.

But what all those happy thoughts are masking is...
I'm a college graduate... what happens next?

Wedding Things.

I have been engaged for 4 months. I have only been thinking of using succulents for my main 'flower' in my wedding bouquet and decoration accents. I've even imagined them on a cake frosted with butter cream frosting (not fondant... gross) and as place holders/guest gifts. Again for 4 months I had this beautiful image of succulents on my wedding day.

I graduate in 70 days!

I've been in college since 2005.

We are gonna move far away.

We are going to explore some place new.

I saw this posted on Post Secret and it made me so happy.

Today my brain is over school and my heart is busy moving forward.

I need to hang in there a couple more months.

It's hard when vacation is in 6 days.

I turn 25 in 34 days.

& Our friends are planning our annual camping trip! (82 days)

& All I want to do is spend every moment with my fiancé

Valentines Dessert

Instead of going out on a hot date for valentines day

Bradley and I are going to make dinner and stay in.

We have gotten a few bottles of champagne from loved ones to celebrate our engagement.

We figured we would celebrate on valentines day!

Any way, I'm making the dessert and Bradley is making dinner.

Maid of Honor

In 2008 my best friend got married.

I was in her wedding :)

Yesterday I asked her to be my maid of honor.

We both cried. It was the perfect reaction.

Wedding Dress.

I bought my wedding dress yesterday.

I want to show every one and post pictures on my blog.

It's so me. I wanted to come home and show my fiancé

because I know he would love it ...

But I can't.

I didn't even have any intentions of trying on dresses let alone buying one.

It's perfect. It's exactly what I wanted. I can't believe it's so beautiful.

Bradley and I always say " We have the best lives"

So when I was looking back at our 2011 I came to the conclusion that we really do.

The best part not pictured is our engagement!! (but I just wrote about that).

We go on adventures, we go outdoors, we have fun friends & an awesome puggle.
